The online engineer performs development of the game servers and game clients for various services that support our games.

    Work Details

    • Development and operation of game servers that operate on a cloud platform
    • Development of a game client to communicate with the game server
    • Development and operation of various Web systems such as for the official website
    • Development of necessary features for playing with other players on a network
    • Development of server operation tools
    The online engineer is responsible for the development of a system that allows communication between multiple PlayStation®Consoles, mobile devices, and PC’s over a network.
    In order to achieve a superior user experience, they are responsible for everything from the design of the architecture, the development of programs that use low level socket APIs, to the development of the actual UI that the end user actually operates.

    Requirements/
    Experience

    • System development experience using languages such as Golang and C++
    • Basic understanding of Linux
    • Good communication skills

    Experience/Skills

    • Development and operation experience of distributed systems utilizing AWS, GCP, etc.
    • System development experience based on container, serverless, managed services
    • Development experience of web applications
    • Database design and utilization experience for KVS, RDB, etc.
    • Development experience in online games
    • Test development experience such as unit testing, load testing, etc.
    • CI/CD environment setup experience
    • Network programming experience using TCP, UDP
    • English(Able to communicate in email and documentation)

      PDS(Product Development Staff) Employee

      *The PDS(Product Development Staff) Employee is a standard employee format for game creators with superflex work hours, yearly salary contract, and special incentive bonus.

    • Salary

      Yearly salary, with reviews every year.

      For the year following employment, 1/12 of the yearly salary set at the time of employment is paid every month.
