Application Programmer

You will be responsible for developing all parts of the game that will be seen by the users in the game, including game logic and user interfaces.

    •Game logic development
    •UI and related system development
    •Client development for online content
    •Creation of data construction tools required for applications
    •Definition of game specifications from a programmer’s point of view, and facilitation of its development.

    The application program will be responsible for all parts that a user will interact with from the startup of the game until its closure, including the game logic and user interface.
    Within Gran Turismo there are a large number of cars and tracks appearing in the game, and there is a large variety of features that will be required to support this, from simulating and choreographing a user’s “life with cars” and their participation in races.
    Also, features relating to the creation and viewing of online content that will be shared between users in a format much like a social network service will also be a major element.

    Because you will be working with artists and other engineers to integrate all of these features together, we are looking for someone with not only implementation skills but with a strong sense of responsibility and high communication skills.

    Experience

    •Interest in game development
    •Game client development experience
    •Software development experience using C++
    •Excellent spoken and written communication.

    •Programming experience in C#
    •Experience in other light programming languages
    •Web programming experience
    •Experience with Databases
    •Interest in UI/UX development
    •Interest in project management
    •English (enough proficiency to write proper formatted emails and perform text communication)
    •Moderate (JLPT N3 level or higher) communication skills in Japanese

      For the year following employment, 1/12 of the yearly salary set at the time of employment is paid every month.
