Racing Game Programmer

You will be tasked with creating the important portions of the game program that comprises a racing game.

    Work Details

    •Development of the race system, rules and regulations
    •Development of online competition features
    •Development of event systems and support applications

    In Race Engine development, you will be tasked with creating the systems and UI’s involving all race events recreated within “Gran Turismo”, from real world race categories such as GT, Rally, and NASCAR, to even fantasy regulation cars.
    For online competition features relating to open lobbies and Sports Mode, you will be involved in the initial proposals in the planning stage as well as its implementation. Therefore you will need not only programming ability but also a genuine interest for racing and communication skill for communicating and working smoothly with other teams as a project planner.
    As a Race Game Programmer you will also be responsible for implementing features for e-Sport events. You will also be working to produce systems and UI required for hosting events and support applications for their smooth operation.
    You will be defining the race engine and game engine, as well as the features for the game. Because of this you will naturally not only be involved in programming, but the overall quality of the game itself.

    Requirements/
    Experience

    •Interest in racing and games
    •Object oriented programming language skills
    •UI development experience
    •Excellent spoken and written communication.

    Desired
    Experience/Skills

    •Knowledge in motorsports, whether it be in Amateur or professional racing.
    •C++ Programming ability
    •Basic knowledge in network programming
    •Development experience in Web applications
    •Online Game Development Experience
    •Moderate (JLPT N3 level or higher) communication skills in Japanese

      Yearly salary, with reviews every year.

      For the year following employment, 1/12 of the yearly salary set at the time of employment is paid every month.
