    Work Details

    ・Server/Client program development using socket API
    ・Online server development
    ・Development of network test programs
    ・Development of related tools

    The online engineer is responsible for the development of a system that allows communication of multiple PlayStation®4 consoles, mobile devices and PCs across a network
    To build a superior user experience, the development will involve everything from the development of the architecture design and programs using low level socket APIs, all the way through to the actual UIs that the users will operate.

    This will also involve the development of test codes and tools to investigate whether the above are operating properly.
    Because the job crosses various disciplines, a wide range of knowledge are required, as well as the ability to communicate well with other engineers and artists. We are looking for someone who really has a passion for game development.

    Experience

    ・Programming ability in C++
    ・Understanding of TCP/IP, BSD Sockets API
    ・Object oriented programming

    ・Knowledge of encryption and security
    ・Knowledge regarding networks in general
    ・Multithread programming

    ・Knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL
    ・UI development experience
    ・Development experience of High Availability and Fault-Tolerant systems.

      *The PDS(Product Development Staff) Employee is a standard employee format for game creators with superflex work hours, yearly salary contract, and special incentive bonus.

    • Salary

      Yearly salary, with reviews every year.

      For the year following employment, 1/12 of the yearly salary set at the time of employment is paid every month.
