There are development positions in two fields, for the Race Engine and Game Engine.
In race engine development, the staff with this role will be responsible for implementing regulations for real life racing categories included in Gran Turismo (GT, Rally, NASCAR, Etc.), as well as virtual races such as online events and mission races.
For open lobbies and quick match online race features, you will be involved in making proposals in the planning stage in addition to the actual implementation. For this reason, the position will require not only programming skills, but an interest in racing, and good communication skills with other teams during the planning phase.
Game Engine development will involve design of the framework covering the overall flow of the game, management of save data, development of job systems and other console utilities.
This will also involve the development of an interface between C++ and script languages.
Both the Race Engine and Game Engine decide the features of the game, and these positions are not only limited to programming, as you will naturally be involved in setting the quality of the game itself.
